Photographs alone can mean a lot - together and visually side by side. images can build conversations, like a call and response. One, two, three images - a whole grid, lots of photographers use photography's ability to be mechanically reproduced as a strategy to create meaning. The purpose of the project is to demonstrate your growth as a photographer and to assemble an image gallery. In assembling the gallery, you will put into action the learning you’ve done about communicating with images, and organizing them into a coherent show. Putting your images up for display is a way to make connections, whether personal or professional.

For this assignment, I have curated a collection of photographs that represent my appreciation for the abundance of vivid colors and sunshine associated with summer in the pacific northwest, specifically in the garden and with some of my cats rick, chunky and otis.
